GIVE UP! FOR EXCELLENCE!
There is what to give up or loose to excel. This makes sure that you do not just talk about excellence but
you live it. This is the will of God for us His children. When we give up somethings we leave stagnation and move forward.
What we ought to be as the church has not been attained yet, we need this giving up. Give up our small visions, goals small
thoughts etc, and take up Gods visions, goals and thoughts for our lives. This causes us to think of good things happening
to us not evil (Jeremiah 29:11).
This change of thought causes God to make sure good things happen to us (Ephesians 3:20). God has the ability
to do good things but you have to think it for God to cause it to work towards you.
The condition for Abrahams blessing was tied to his departure from His own to Gods own way.
"Now the Lord had said to Abram: Get out of your country, from your family and from your fathers havoc,
to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nations; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall
be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth
shall be blessed" (Genesis 12:1-3).
Abraham excelled when he did depart from his own. His own gave him a particular mentality or what disagreed
with God. For God to change his mentality and excel him, he had to move to a place which only God knew.
Even though God desired excellence for Abraham, He had to leave him to chose to give up his country, people,
and his house. God instructed Isaiah to change his walk so that to excel in his assignment; we are demanded to do the giving
up. (Isaiah 8:11-13).
It's time to loose the little you have to attain to the great that God has for you (I Kings 17:8-16). Exchange
what you have with what God has, for your advantage. This is your turn for excellence!
The greatest enemy of your excellence is yourself. When you hold the old, you create no room for the new.
The old and the new are never in agreement.
Then He spoke a parable to them: "No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear,
and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else
the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new
wineskins and both are preserved. And no one having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says; the old is better"
(Luke 5:36-39)
Although the proverb 'Old is gold'; is time, it does not certify that the old way of doing things should be
clanged on forever, Jesus came and informed the Samaritan women on the change in the activities of worship (John 4:21 23).
There is a price tag for every worthwhile achievement of excellence. Ask yourself how much are willing to pay in terms of
hard work; patience etc.
You must realize that it does not just happen! it is made to happen, you have to put yourself under pressure
to produce it, its not accidental! No one stumbles in to it ! No!
When the price is paid, then you are assured to excel in any area; it is not restricted to age, sex, race
or occupation you can excel in anything you do, anywhere. There must be a getting out to get in. You must get out of your
own to get into Gods own.
You cannot find God by your own thinking, but by 'loosing yourself'. Since today is the first day of the rest
of your life, transform your life by making a choice to give up your own way for excellence. The highest! and the best!, this must
be the goal of every child of God.
"And this way, that you have may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may
approve the things that are excellence, that you may be sincere and without of sense till the day of Christ" (Philippians
1: 9 10)
There is what must happen to you, to be able to approve excellent things. Know the excellent things and you
will be able to approve them.
The best persons you know how to be in your personal life and occupation, are the ones you should give up
your small ambitions to attain to.
This is not for people who think they have arrived; those who live as if they do not need any improvement. Abraham
agreed with the command to change his status.
It is our turn to change our own at His command. Be angry with your own mediocrity and do something constructive
to get out for your due life. Anger is Gods gift to man to move him from his mediocrity to excellence (...be angry
and sin not...Eph4:26).
Do not wait for the seven waves of success to carry you to success, you have to work your way to success.

THE SUCCESSFULL SHEEP!
The pursuit after purpose is secondary to the pursuit after God. Infact,
fulfilling purpose should be as a consequence of seeking after God. Jesus, who we are supposed to imitate, fulfilled His purpose
because of a very close walk with the Father. We all know that He almost aborted save for His walk with God Lk.22:41-42.
Fulfilling purpose will not always be a smooth, straight walk. Once in a while God will allow us to
"veer off the track" in order for Him to deal with us. God will use different methods depending on what He wants to exercise
in you. It is vital to know that each individual is a pioneer because we have unique callings and destines. Though the pioneers
way is not smooth, he still has to be the first to "stir his own water."PSALM 23
This chapter talks of how a sheeps relationship with its shepherd determines the sheeps productivity
hence a successful purpose fulfillment. It is symbolic to our relationship with God because we are the sheep of His pasture.
From the first verse, we note that the sheeps lacking is not dependent on purpose (i.e. providing milk, wool and mutton) but
on relationship (i.e. following the shepherd). The best resources (i.e. green pastures and water) the sheep requires to effectively
fulfill purpose is only obtained as it follows the shepherd. The only person that knows the safest route is the shepherd so
hes the only one to be followed. Even the most experienced sheep will still have to follow the shepherd.
If the sheep finds itself (fortunately or unfortunately) in the dark valley, its not because the sheep
is disobedient but its because of the sheeps commitment to follow the shepherd. You will notice that while in the green pastures
and by still waters the sheep didnt know anything about fear of evil or anything about comfort. This reminds one of the homosapien
who will learn nothing unless he is pushed from his comfort zone. It is almost impossible for most of us to recognize God
or His presence when all is well. I also believe that affliction is the only way the sheep could learn comfort.
After that school of affliction, the sheep is better equipped to face its enemies (i.e sickness, carnivores
and thieves). The shepherd knows that anxiety reduces the sheeps yield so he ensures that even when the enemies attack the
sheep is at rest of course on a table doing nothing but feasting. After the successful completion of that school the sheep
yield increases (symbolic for a greater impact due to the new level of the anointing). Focusing more on our purpose at the
expense of our walk with God will leave us with sharpened gifts and better skills but with no anointing. If we have ever dreamt
of changing lives and the world at large, then we have no option but to seek more of the anointing. THE ANOINTING MAKES THE
DIFFERENCE!

THE BASTARD GENERATION!
In the past I used to think that bastard was some kind of a big insult. But later I came to realize that a
bastard is simply a son without a father, an illegitimate child or if he/she has a father then he (the father ) is not playing
his role as a father in terms of provision, correction, direction and raising up the child. The child therefore has no one
to motivate, direct, receive some fatherly impartation or look up to , he/she only has someone to look away from!
There is nothing as painful and agitating as having a father who has never played his role
as a legal father in ones life. Our society is full of bastards a fatherless society. More so even in the church we have bastards.
People that have never enjoyed the privilege of being raised up spiritually. They dont have a mentor to motivate, direct and
correct them in the right way. But let me say that the fact that someone is a bastard doesnt make him/her spiritually incorrect.
Bastards are and can be useful. I have seen it many times in the scriptures in
what I call the silent language of God, God raising bastards and using them in such a greater way than even the so called
mentored. Even now, in our times, He is majoring on the bastards.
Them that have been trodden down, Looked down upon and cast away by the
society, God has a major agenda to lift them from the guttermost to the upper most.
Lets look at one bastard in the Bible in the book of Judges 11:1-

Now Jephtha, the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour and he was the son of
a harlot: and Gilead begat Jepthah. AndGileads wife bare him sons and his wifes sons grew up, and they thwest out Jephthah
and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our fathers house: for thou are the son of a strangewoman. Then Jephthah fled
from his breathren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went with him. And it came to pass in the process of time the children
of Amon made war against Israel. And it was so that when we children, made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to
fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob: and said unto Jephthah, come and be our captain that we may fight the
children of Amon.
Despite Jephthah being a bastard,
he was a mighty man of valour. He was hated, cast away by his brethren and dismissed as a worthless good for nothing fellow.
They didnt see the positive side of him, they only saw they negative side of his life. But
something happened to the bastard in the process of time.
Let me quickly drive this to you friend, all you need is a process of time. Oh yes!
Not a sudden thing but a function of a process of time. A time when you are locked from the rest of the world, when they say
things like, "Your messages are boring" , "You dont know how to sing, your voice is not even in the keyboard." All you need
is a process of time.
At this time, capitalize on the great hindrance in your life and it will become your
greatest asset. When the Amonites gathered against Israelites, the elders ran back to fetch Jephthah and said , "Come be our
captain that we may fight the children of Amon." I see those who threw you out coming to beg for your assistance. What God
has placed in you is not subject to circumstances and situations. Oh yes! No matter what Jephthah went through, it didnt change
his identity ( a mighty man of valour). Your value is in you! Not around you!.
The Big question is; How do you look at yourself? Do you look at yourself as a good
for nothing, unfortunate bastard? You are your greatest enemy! You must not accept that breakdown. Look up! Refuse to be trodden
down. Say to the prevailing circumstances, " I know my redeemer lives. " All you need to go through is the process of time.
When you reach your end, God comes and picks up from there! I see Him come for you!
The story lets us know that Jephthah went and fought the Amonites and
defeated them. I see you becoming a celebration in Jesus Name! As much as people look down upon you, let them know that you
have a Father who is always looking after you. He is the Father to fatherless He will stand for you. Your Father in heaven
is more than a thousand of earthly fathers. Dont mess up your destiny for lack of a Father! Embrace your heavenly Father and
you will know your destiny is sure.Go for it is in Jesus Mighty Name! "

"Whats Up?"
"Hi! Whats
up? " " Whats up? " Is the uniform salutation of my genaration. No one seems to know whats up, and all are asking the same
question to each other.Well, who will give the answer? Where is the Answer to this alarming, heartfelt, question of my genaration?
The perpetual outcry of " whats up?" is due to no satisfactory answer. Well,
someone said the response to whats up is "Jesus is up". Okay, that could be true, but how come the outcry continues?
Ladies and Gentlemen, I choose to settle this matter once and for all.The
cancer to our genaration is the absence of mentor institutions. Not that they dont exist but they are only not functional.
Father, Mother, Son and daughter all ask " whats up?" Why?
Is it because life was meant to be so unpredictable or what? Did God plan
that we live a life wondering what the future holds for us? Does the God they say loves us delight in us guessing what will
become of us tomorrow? Well I dont think so.
But I know this one thing,our genaration lacks mentors who lay down their
lives to raise up others after them. All we have are task masters, who do all they can to"use us" get where they are going
and nothing to get us where we are going.
As a matter of fact they do everything to keep us from knowing where we are
going.
They point us to Jesus who they themselves have failed to relate to and so
were left more confused than when we went to ask the question! Who will save this genaration from this mess?
John the apostle said "...the things we have heard, seen,looked upon and hundled
we give to you". That one simply says they were not experimenting. They gave what they knew . This I believe is what our generation
lacks.
We have leaders but all they say is "do as I say not as I do!" They are not
mentors but task masters!.
They are up there not by working their way up but guessing it. They have no
point of reference to teach their children. They are up but dont know how! So, they are not sure of themselves nor their future.
How abaut their children? They cant be any better.
We are a fatherless genaration and our only hope lies in fathering ourselves.
"What are you saying?" You ask. Well hold on and reason with me.Who among
our leaders can point to himself as an example to us? They all tell us what to do, but dont do.
So only you and I have to take the responsibility to straighten this matter
once and for all.
Life is only colourful when you determine where you are going not leaving
it to fate. Dont take life as it comes! Give it direction!.
Authentic leadership is not the one pointing but one that takes lead. We the
fatherless have to determine that our children will not find this mess here.
Lets give life a meaning by choosing what is right over what is wrong,no matter
how long the the wrong has prevailed!.
I choose to be an example to my genaration. I choose to be a point of reference
to my juniors. That they may say I observed him and found my direction in life. I associated with him and I profited in life.
Lets come to an understanding that God delights in those who find from Him
what they must do in order to succeed and purpose to do it.
God never said life should be uncertain as they have taught! No! He says.....
I am the LORD, I declare the end from the beginning!. It is time we redefined our life.
Well, lets nail the matter right between the eyes. Jesus told Peter..."follow
me and I will make you....", Paul speaking to the Corthians he said "follow me as I follow Christ" .
To the Phillipians He said," immitate me as I immitate Christ." And He told
the Thessolonians," the same way you"ve seen me live among you, Live! "
Now my beloved, where is this in our present genaration? Who among our leaders
takes the audesty to declare to the congrigation..." follow me as I follow Christ" ? Could it be that they are not following
Him? May be who knows?
Now please get me right, the issue is not to blame or condemn anyone, but
we have to get the answer to our question- "whats up?" God said " ...believe the Lord your God and you shall be established,
believe His PROPHETS and you shall prosper".
Prophets here I believe means our Human physical leaders.And since Prophets
were for direction then it goes without saying that every genaration is groomed by its leaders.
So our piercing question " whats up?" is hetitary of the previous genarations
that never found the answer and so passed it over, and if we will not get the answer now, we may also pass it over to the
next genaration.
But I refuse to pass over the question and rather the answer.
The answer to our statling question is simply acceptance of responsibility.Our
genaration blames everybody for the mess except themselves.
And this is not new but as old as Adam and Eve in Eden. Adam said "the woman
you gave me, gave me the fruit." The woman said "the serpent".
So all go arround blaming others for the problems but fail to understand that
blaming one another is not the solution. It is accepting responsibility for the mess and seek help.
Youngman, the father you are blaming for not directing you was never directed,
now what do you want him to do?He has done his best by sending you to school in the hope that you will find the answer there
but unfortunately you ve come back still with the question." Whats up?"
Now you ask what will I do? Listen, this is exactly what you will do.One,
accept your present state and then seek the way out without trying to cover it up by blaming others.Say to yourself, "I have
blundered yes, but God is there a chance for me?"
Secondly, Ask God to show who to be your mentor. He may not be a hero yet
but he is on his way there. Follow him/her!
Thirdly, Determine to learn the Godly principles that make life bouyance!
And I guarantee you! As long as you follow your mentor and He keeps on following Christ, your success in life is unlimited.You
are a born Star. You are born a winner! Work it out, It will come true. In Jesus Name!

THE SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE! There is a powerful statement that God issues in Zech 4:6
.Not by Mighty nor by power but by my spirit saith the LORD of hosts This brings us to the realization that nothing
goes on successfully without the involvement of the Spirit of God. This is true with excellence.
Behind all excellence in life is the Spirit of God whose name alone is excellence (Ps 148:13). To excel in life you
need a baptism in the spirit of excellent.
". He that hath knowledge spaketh his words and a man of understanding is of an EXCELLENT SPIRIT." (Pro 17:27).
There is an excellent spirit that causes men to make it in life. This enhances ones understanding to enable correct judgment
of matters in life. If you will know how to tackle the obstacles of life then nothing will stop your going forward. Excellence
is by the spirit of excellence!
" Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an EXCELLENT SPIRIT was in him; and the King
thought to set him over the whole realm." Dan 6:3.
The distinction between those who lead while others follow is in the spirit of excellence upon them. The degree of excellence
you display is proportional to the spirit of excellence you appropriate.
Excellence will always pick you out of the crowd. No matter how many contest against you, the spirit of excellence upon
you will make your outstanding than the rest! Its the excellent spirit that gave Daniel preeminence in exile while in Babylon.
You can make it anywhere on earth with the excellent spirit."They father, made master of the magicians, astrologers and
sooth sayers; for as much as an excellent spirit, and knowledge and understanding, interpreting of dreams and showing of hard
sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were in the same Daniel. (Dan 5:11-12).
Its the excellent spirit in Daniel that gives him the excellence he enjoys. No matter what case is brought to you, you
have an answer to it by the spirit of excellence.
The Holy Spirit you received was not just to get you speak in tongues but cause you to excel. Jesus said He will lead you
in all truth. Pay attention to the spirit in your inside and you will discover that there is nothing impossible. You can dissolve
all things by the spirit of God. You will excel this time! Can we find such a one, as this is a man in whom the spirit
of God is? for as much as God hath showed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art (Gen 41:37-43)
The man Joseph in a foreign land is made ruler over all through the spirit of God in Him. The spirit of excellent will
excel anywhere! There is no time when the world needs answers to hard sentences like now, but the question is, where is the
Joseph of this generations? The church should give answers to the economic, political and social predicaments. The purpose
of the church is not to hold services but to give answers to the problems that people are facing.
We must be a link to the picking of the solution from God and help our nations. The spirit of God in you has all the answers
but how often do you contact Him?
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him And He shall not judge after the sight of this eyes, neither reprove after
the hearing of His ears: but with equity for the meek of the earth and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth
and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked (Isa 11:1-5).
Its the Spirit of the LORD that excelled His ministry! Until the spirit it came upon Jesus He was normal like the rest.
His judgment is different because He has a different spirit. He cheaply handled the wicked and all opposition by the wisdom
- spirit of his mouth.
His breath had power to excel anywhere! What will happen if every believers breath will be that? This is your time.
Everyone is entitled to his opinion but those of wisdom cant fail to be noticed. (Lk 7:33-35) Let the spirit of the only wise
God in you distinguish you among many. Wisdom excellent folly as light excelleth darkness (Ecc 2:13).
This is the time to beat the folly of this world hands down by the display of the excellent spirit of God upon us. You
shall excel in every area of your life! Receive ye the spirit of excellence in Jesus Precious Name! Till next time. I

The Lord takes pleasure in your excelling and succeeding. Its Gods greatest desire that you make it in life.
No matter what religion says, Gods own word proves that He ordained you for excellence.
Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I WILL
MAKE THEE ETERNAL EXCELLENCY, a joy of many generations (Isa 60:15).
It's true that being born again has been despised and looked down upon by many, God still says He will turn it around
to cause it to be the most excellent thing in life. His will is to make you an
Excellency for eternity regardless of what your past has been. That will
Erase every reproach
from your life and make you a centre of attraction. The church will no longer
be relegated to a corner but it shall be the most desirable force by all. Its
time to excel! The salvation package is not only for forgiveness of sin and
going to heaven but a restoration force to the fulfillment of Gods greatest desire for you regardless of ones background.
Your previous fallen state is well known to God but He sends Jesus
to die and rescue you so that you excel.
Hath quickened us together with Christ and
hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus... (Eph 2:1-9).
Salvation is being picked from your lowest and caused to sit in the highest place.
Therefore excellence is what you get into when you get sacked. You are
picked from nothing and you are made the Excellency of God.
Once you were not a people (at all), but
now you are Gods people. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should
show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Pet 2: 10,9).
Being saved upgrades you and your status to the place of Gods delight for you.
Whether you were a nothing before, your coming to Christ ushers you into Excellency, Marvelous living. You are chosen to excel for God delights in you. (Isa 62:1-5)
For your sake God will not rest until you excel. The purposes of your salvation
will be vivid. Its over with mediocrity come to the excellence side.
Vs 4 Thou shall no more be termed Forsaken, neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate for the LORD delights
in thee, and thy land shall be honorable. Vs 3 Thou shall be a crown of glory
(Excellence) in the hand of the LORD and a royal Diadem in the hand of thy God
You are a crown of excellence! And that you shall be or else God will not rest.
Enough of lagging behind, your rightful place in the front is ready! Go for it.
You are destined for excellence and what the devil does against it is a mere waste of time! The unfailing God has vowed not to rest nor hold His peace
until you become an Eternal Excellency
Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings
in heavenly places in Christ; according as he hath CHOSEN us in Him before the foundation of the world that we should be HOLY
and WITHOUT BLAME before Him in love having predestinated us According to the good pleasure of His WILL according to the purpose
of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will, that we SHOULD be to the praise of His GLORY, who first trusted
in Christ.
(Eph 1: 3-6, 11,12).
Your excellence was a concluded thing before the foundation of
the earth and God is working all things to the realization of this very purpose. You
are set apart in Christ to excel for that is the will of God. You are not in
the will of God without embracing excellence! The foundations of the world are
intact to receive your excellence in all areas of life; your life, ministry, marriage, family and business shall excel in
Jesus Name! This time you will see the long awaited excellence. It will be clear
whom your savior & redeemer is. Your present status will be the lowest you
will ever be in all your life! All things about you are changing for the better! What saw you yesterday, as brass wont believe when you show up as gold! You are excelling!
The salvation you got in Christ will be the defense and praise will never cease from you. Your deviling will be peace that no violence will be heard again in your life! You cease to operate as
usual with seasons, but you shall excel all the time. Your light will never go
off. Your mourning is ended with this excellence.
The little thing you do shall be a thousand and the small one will be a strong nation (Isa 66:16-22). This is your own time; dont let anything explain you out! You shall excel even if all are mediocre around
you, nothing shall stop you in Jesus Mighty name!

Well being whole doesnt make you an independent Island but enhances your capacity to inter-relate securely hence multiply
your strength. The Bible declares two are better than one for they have a good reward for their labor! ( Eccl4:9-12).
There is undeniable betterment in inter-dependence when well actualized. Despite the fact that the Bible backs the being
two for increase, the two is not two as in two. It s one in two. (Amos3: 3) Asks, "How can two walk together except they agree?"
Until one is gotten in two, the betterment is not yet in their relationship. A house divided against itself, cannot stand
and so if two cannot be one and one be one (whole) nothing can really be established.
Being divided against yourself, will hinder your progress, just as being divided against your partner in whatever capacity
i.e. spouse, business, family etc. But when one is made out of two or more nothing is strong enough to stop it.
Matt 18: 19-20 the Lord Jesus unveils the greatest truth ever. He says if two can push and become one, even heaven cant
stop them. There is unchallengeable power in one that even the holy trinity- God the Father, The son and the Holy Spirit cant
do without it. Jesus said, Just as they are one, we should be one to make it. (Jn17: 21.)
In Gen11:1-6, God Himself makes a confession that what one in the many starts to do, cant be stopped without dividing them.
Here you can discover that you need to be one and find another who is one and if two of you be one, ( not necessarily in marriage)
whatever you purpose to do, in accordance with the will of God, can never be stopped by no devil!
Friend, can you see now? Your life is a power dynamo that is about to explode if well channeled. You are indeed for signs
and for wonders! You are what God was looking for when He made you! Dont make a mistake about it! You are the man for the
Job! Get up! Be all you were created to be! Go forth! You will win in Jesus Name!

Starting right is very parramount but not final because it will not deliver required results without working
it to the end. That you started the journey well doesn't fulfill, but going all the way does it. God would have us embrace
the fact that he delights in finishers and not just starters.
When you know where you came from then you can tell
where you are going because the factor that made you, had what you were to be and do. Well, we all came from God who proves
to be the creator of all things. Now if we came from Him then it is only makes senseble to find
out from Him why
we exist!
Where do I find Him to ask Him? Good question! I will answer you right away. He is more available to hear
you any time, any where! at any moment as long as you dial the correct number. He has said the only way to reach Him is through
His son Jesus Christ so for us to get to Him we must pass through the channel of Jesus.
Where is this Jesus? Well
He is closer to you than the sceen you are watching right now! How do I get to Him? Just call Him with believe that
He IS HEARING YOU, And when you have got his attention, just state your case of you being taken to the Father.
This
I guarantee you it will save you all your religious struggles of trying to catch God by your good works. Only Him is good!
Jesus put that very clear therefore no matter how nice a person you may be, your degree of goodness is still wanting until
it is of Him who is the only GOOD GOD!
You have to utterly depend to Him for any good that comes from you towards
others.You are special to Him more than anything in this world! I bet you do! He loves you so much that He could dare sacrifice
His son in faith that you will believe in Him and be saved even before you were born!
What a great and loving God He
is. This is true and sure than all that you know. I am a witness to these in every way. I never knew what is to be loved till
I came to Him who loved me with no conditions. All men will love you as long as you do and be what they want you to! But our
God loves in faith that you can make it regardless of your present status!
May I guarantee you that His love for you
is purely an action not a reaction. He knows your inability to keep at the pace of His expectation so He decided to love you
for himself and your welfare. He seeks only your good.
All His thoughts toward you are good and not evil. His determination
is for you to make it. So cheerup God is for you and not against ou. Come to him just as you are and He will take care of
all your fears. I am sure
that He longs and eagerely waits for your coming.
Take rest in Him that loves you
to the end. The scripture says that he loved his own to the very end. You are part of that group that is loved. The LORD Bless
